Costumes heavily encouraged and our costume contest is a go! The space IS family-friendly so all ages can attend.
@theinsectasylum will also be bringing a few live critters to see up close from 6-7. You won’t want to miss it!

The Shape is shuffling back into our lives after a 3-year absence and he couldn’t be more welcome. To celebrate his crispy return, we’re partnering with Paulie Gee’s and upcoming horror-themed coffee shop The Brewed to throw a party that even Dr. Loomis would enjoy! For the low low price of $30, you’ll get all the pizza you can eat (veggie/vegan/gluten free options available) plus a beer and a shot (or non-alcoholic option). We’ll also be raffling off a copy of the Halloween (2018) soundtrack autographed by the maestro of macabre himself, John Carpenter! Raffle tickets will be $1 and 100% of the money raised will be donated to the Chicago Torture Justice Center.
In addition to the pizza party, you can secure for yourself a copy of the new soundtrack on vinyl or cassette AND/OR join in for a group screening of the movie at the Logan Theatre immediately following the party at Paulie Gee’s. Click below to purchase tickets and to select any add-ons for your evening.
COVID DETAILS: Proof of vaccine is required (physical card or photo). Masks strongly encouraged when not seated.

John Carpenter’s new take on the classic soundtrack is getting released on 10/19 and we are one of 25 stores in the country with a box full of exclusive treats for you! Super limited color variants, trick or treat bags, label swag, and more!
Plus, our friends at Paulie Gee’s Pizza are letting us take over the restaurant for the evening! We’ll be DJing the spookiest of tunes and selling the new soundtrack along with all available installments of Death Waltz’s reissue series of the soundtracks from Halloween I-V AND their jaw-droppingly beautiful commemorative box to house all volumes. Creepy Co will also be vending, showing off their latest line of officially licensed Halloween merchandise and tons more of their signature goodies.
If that’s not enough for you, Paulie Gee’s will have some pizzas on special with Halloween iconography baked IN the cheese! That’s right! A Michael Myers pizza!!
After all that insanity wraps up, we’ll all make the 3 block walk up to the Logan Theatre and catch a screening of the reason for the season, Halloween (2018)!
